I was a dam builder,

Across the river deep and wide,

Where steel and water did collide,

A place called Boulder on the wild Colorado,

I slipped and fell in the wet concrete bellow,

They buried me in that great tomb that knows no sound,

But I am still around – I’ll always be around, and around and around and around.

They say it’s alright,

They say it’s alright,

Say it’s alright,

It’s alright, have a good time,

Cause it’s alright, whoa it’s alright.

How I wish you were here,

How I wish you were here,

We’re just two lost souls,

Swimming in a fishbowl year after year,

Running over the same old ground,

What have we found?

The same old fears,

Now I wish that you were here.
